Comic Con

Hi everyone, tomorrow I'll be at the Comic Book Show in Nashua NH. So I did a bunch of new sketches... here's one... some of the others happen to by Marvel Boy, and Metamorpho...ok, so Ralph told me to only do hot chicks, and I was like "doesn't anyone like 3rd string characters?" Anyway, one hot chick and a couple losers, just like a comic con.

That's right folks, another pulp painted cover. This is my 3rd one this year! I'm having a blast doing these. I've got one more to do, but most likely won't get to it until early next year, gotta focus on getting that Johnny/Dragon crossover done before it kills me! :)

And in the next couple weeks/months, I should have some more exciting Johnny news to tell you!

New Face of the Yankees?

Man, I hope so, there's nothin' I like more than watching a game with Lou Piniella... especially when Lou is losing... or even better than Lou losing, Lou losing after he's been drinking... it's almost as good as taking the kids to the zoo to watch the monkeys get it on!

Updated Pulp Cover

Just an update to that painting I started last month... been super busy w/ my day job running into my night job, here it is in all it's glory. Now I know what you're thinking, man, you did some awesome design for that cover. Well, I can't take any of the credit for that, all the cool design stuff was done by the Extra Dandy Anthony Schiavino!!! The guy's great, does tons of cool design work, makes us cover artist look good :)

THIS IS...JEOPARDY!!!

It's no secret, I love Jeopardy, I can usually hold my own, I don't get all the questions right, maybe not even 50%, BUT I have a general knowledge of most things and every once in a while I watch an episode and get on a streak, and feel good about my knowledge of crap nobody cares about.

SO... last night, when I realized it was "back to school week" and I was playin' against a bunch of kids, I got real excited!

As I watch Jeopardy, I demand silence in the room, one peep can break my concentration, and that's it, I'm out of the zone... not last night.... complete silence for fear of Daddy's wrath!!!

Again, this doesn't happen to much, and maybe it's because I was playin' against a bunch of lisping 10 year olds, but I beat them all!!! Not only did I beat all those kids, I got every question right!!! 100%!!! Not only that, but I mocked them as I did it! "In your face! 4 eyes!" At that point, my wife sent the children from the room, something about setting a bad example... anyway, just wanted to share w/ everyone else, if you really want to feel good about yourself, watch Jeopardy this week.
